SYSTEMATIC / BIBLICAL THEOLOGY: DRAMA OF SCRIPTURE

Spring, 2023

In this course, we will survey the storyline of the Bible as it unfolds from Genesis to Revelation, tracing the history of God’s redemptive plan against the backdrop of creation and sin. The focus will be on the big picture, identifying key people and events and how they tie together as God establishes his Kingdom on earth, from creation (Gen 1) to the new creation (Rev. 21-22). Our emphasis will be on the unity of the Scriptures as one story that reaches its fulness and fulfillment in Christ the Lord. We will seek to understand our place today in His Story and reflect on how the storyline may help us as we talk with others about the Bible.
