Assignments are the core activity type you will complete in Grow2Serve online courses. The three kinds of assignments you will see most often are:

1. An assignment that asks you to complete an action (at your computer or away from it) and then simply indicate on the course main page that you have completed that assignment by checking off a box.
2. An assignment that asks you to complete an action, and then write something and submit it to your facilitator as your assignment completion. This type of assignment will automatically mark itself as complete on the weekly main page of your course.
3. An assignment that asks you to complete an action, and attach a file and submit it to your facilitator as your assignment completion. This type of assignment will also automatically mark itself as complete on the weekly main page of your course.

Now that you have learned about the different types of assignments, please indicate that you have completed reading this assignment by marking it complete on the weekly main page of the course. You will notice that several items above this one have already automatically been marked complete as you have looked at them.
